AMRITSAR TRAVEL
One of India's most revered spiritual and cultural sites is Amritsar, which is located in the state of Punjab. The city is famous for the Golden Temple, also known as the Temple of Harmandir Sahib, which is considered the holiest shrine of Sikhism. Not only does it offer a peaceful atmosphere and the largest free communal kitchen in the world, called Langar, but it is open to visitors of all religions.
Jallianwala Bagh, which is dedicated to those who sacrificed their lives during the 1919 massacre in India's independence fight, is another important site in Amritsar. The colorful border ceremony at Wagah, which happens every evening near the India-Pakistan border, is another popular tourist spot.
